02The absences, to begin with

To begin with what is missing: nothing here opens an account, nothing runs a contact form or a comment thread, no newsletter exists, no analytics script counts you, no ad pixel follows you, and no payment processor is wired in. Nothing to log into, and no field on any page that asks for your details.

03Your list, and where it sleeps

Products you add rest in a pocket of your browser’s local storage — a small drawer on your own device. None of it travels, and we hold no way to read it. Deleting it takes one action whenever you like: press the empty control on the list page, or take a site-data wipe through the browser’s settings.

04Routine records on the server

Like every website, the hosting that delivers these pages may keep technical logs — the request itself, when it arrived, the address it came from — enough to run the service and repel abuse. Those records serve two purposes only — keeping the service running and turning away abuse. They are never mined for visitor profiles, never merged with anything else, and fall away once their operational value is spent.

05Fonts, and the moment you click away

The typefaces arrive from Google Fonts, so Google sees a request for font files, with your IP address riding along as part of the delivery. Follow an Amazon link and you leave this site altogether — from that click onward, Amazon’s privacy notice is the one that governs.

06The promises kept to visitors

• Nothing personal ever moves in a trade or a sale — and there is barely any here to move.
• An inbox message from us only ever answers one you sent.
• No field anywhere asks for payment card digits, passwords or identity papers.

07The rights PIPEDA hands you

PIPEDA gives you the run of the standard rights: to learn why data is collected, to look at what is held, to set mistakes straight, and to pull your consent where one applies. As no personal information about visitors is held here, an access request will usually return nothing — though mail you send does exist as correspondence, and it is erased on request. Unresolved concerns can travel further — the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada is the next stop (priv.gc.ca).
