The reference desk · 20 carriers on file
Read the frame first. Pack second.
findatraveler holds the published cabin allowances of twenty carriers — personal-item frames, overhead frames, kilo caps — and puts every bag in the shop against them. Build a list as you read; the purchase stays at Amazon.ca.

Three figures worth memorising
The frames the tape meets most
Carriers converge on a handful of shapes. Know these three and most of the packing questions answer themselves.
20/20
The under-seat piece
40 × 30 × 20 cm
The squishable bag that rides by your feet. 20 of the carriers on file publish a personal-item frame; none of them weigh it on a domestic run.
6/20
The standard locker bag
55 × 40 × 23 cm
The classic roller. 6 carriers publish exactly this frame for economy cabins, and the rest sit within a centimetre or two either way.
11/20
The piece with a kilo cap
7–12 kg
11 of twenty print a weight on the cabin bag itself. Where no figure appears, the test is simply lifting it into the locker unaided.

The bag is the first measurement that has to agree
Every card carries the maker’s printed size, the stars buyers left, and the count of carriers that take it — at your feet for the small ones, in the locker for the larger sizes.

How the range is built
No bestseller list knows the fare you booked.
A bag can top a sales chart and still miss your cabin by two centimetres. This range answers the narrower question, and the arithmetic sits on every card.
Straight from the baggage page
Every frame and kilo cap starts at the carrier’s own published luggage rules — no forums, no seller claims, no rounding in anyone’s favour.
Every figure wears its date
Each allowance wears the month it was read. Carriers revise between seasons, and a stale figure helps nobody pack.
Ratings outrank commissions
Position tracks Amazon ratings and the volume of reviews behind them. A fatter commission has never nudged a bag upward.
Nothing is bought here
This site holds no card fields and takes no payment of any kind. Checkout, delivery and returns all belong to Amazon.ca.
The frame checker
What exactly is your fare measuring?
Which slotFrames are quoted as each carrier publishes them, re-read in October 2026. Fares, routes and aircraft can move them — the booking always outranks this table.

The rest of the kit, once the bag fits
Packing, wash, power, paper — the pieces that fill the spaces a frame leaves you.
Three steps
Sized here. Listed here. Paid for over there.
No account opens on this site, no card field exists on it, and the paying happens at Amazon.
Match the frame to your fare
Run the checker or open the size guide and note the figures your fare allows. They stay printed on the page while you browse.
Keep a running list
Add a bag, a wash kit, an adapter as you go. The list lives in this browser alone — nothing to register for, nothing sent to an inbox.
Pass it to Amazon.ca
One press turns the list into an Amazon cart at your quantities. Paying, shipping and returns are Amazon’s from that point on.
Affiliate note. The outbound Amazon.ca links wear a commission tag; qualifying purchases put a small percentage our way. Your price is untouched, and no commission gets a say in what appears or where it sits. Read the whole disclosure.
Questions
Before the first order
01Do wheels and handles count against the frame?+
They count. A gate sizer measures the whole bag: casters, extended handle, side pockets and everything packed inside. We line the maker’s figures up against the carrier’s frame side by side, and a single centimetre over on any edge marks the bag as short of that frame.
02What happens after I send my list across?+
A new tab opens on Amazon.ca with the same items already in its cart, at the counts you set. From there it runs as any Amazon order — paying, tracking, returns and support all live with Amazon.
03Can this page take my payment?+
It cannot — there is no payment machinery of any kind here. No account, no card fields, no checkout of our own. The list is the only thing kept, and it stays in your browser.
04Who decides the order of the shelves?+
Ratings first, review counts second, then how many of the twenty cabin frames the bag truly clears. Commission takes no part in the ranking — the carrier-count badge on every card exists for exactly that reason.
